signing brokerage application form
When investment club opens brokerage account as general partnership, some brokerages asks to sign brokerage application and agreement by ALL members. That's ok at beginning. But if a new member joins later on, they ask again to sign form by all member including new one. This is bit inconvenient, considering growth of a club and getting every member signing again and again. Especially locations of members are far away and slow postal speed to collect signature. Fidelity, TDA, Scottrade etc.
Any way to get around by signing only by treasurer(always) or just amend agreement internally without sending to broker.
We have TD Ameritrade and have only emailed a list of the changes.
