You are a day late, I did mine yesterday in honor of my former chairman and CEO who sided from ALS about 15 years ago and because my son challenged me.

Personally, I don't know anyone who suffers from ALS but I took your challenge to heart and have made a donation to the ALS Association (using your link below).
Now, I am inviting my investment club to take on the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge!

As I watch videos of my friends taking this challenge, it has struck me how many people do have some personal connection to those who have been struck by this devastating disease.
What I really appreciate about having this front and center in the news lately, is that it is highlighting lots of great people who are trying to make the world a better place. Since the majority of the news seems to want to make us all think the world is an awful scary place, I find this highlight of something positive happening to be very refreshing.
I do believe most people out there are doing their best to make the world a better place. I've seen that first hand over and over in this investment club community. One of the great things about saving and investing is it allows you to have some money to give back for worthy causes. I know many of you out there support lots of good ones.
Thank you to everyone for all that you do to make the world a better place.
