Cash balance
We use Folio investments as our broker. We often are off a
penny or two in our cash balance between them and bivio.
Their rounding seems to be the problem. Do I need to make
this balance?
Need to make sure you are balancing monthly. Folio will give a .01 interest fee periodically. Add the transaction into your bivio as a separate insurance. Then it will balance

Folio rounds their statements because they track to 4-5 decimal places;  occasionally there will be a mismatch between Folio and Bivio.  We've had this issue a couple times.  We naturally want our records to match to the penny so we'll make entries to account for this difference.

If you check your sales against the Folio Realized gain/loss reports you may find your penny there. Their information on on one place on their website isn't in complete agreement with their information in another.

If you find it there and are concerned about it, you can edit your sale entries to make the adjustment.

But, other than peace of mind, it doesn't make any difference in your accounting.
