FOFE News
By Mary Campbell

It's that time of year again! The Friends of Fletcher Elementary (FOFE) End of Year Festival is just around the corner. The festival will be held on Saturday, June 7 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., rain or shine, at the Fletcher Elementary School. All ages are welcome. There will be games, crafts, tye dye, cotton candy, hot dogs, and a "Survivor meets Nickelodeon-like" obstacle course that requires clothes that you can get muddy in and a sense of humor. Also, two Fletcher Elementary staff members will get a buzz cut, dye their hair purple, or kiss a pig! To participate in the obstacle course, pick up a registration form in the School lobby. The form is due by May 16.

Have you seen the new FOFE FUN FEST T-shirts? They are in the new display case in the Fletcher Elementary School lobby. These are colorful, quality shirts. You may order them until May 16 by picking up an order form in the School lobby or using the form in your child's backpack. The shirts are $10 each, or $11 for size XXL. They come in white or gray. FOFE earns a percentage of the sales.

After this harsh winter, we need a little sunshine and color NOW. FOFE has just the thing - Bio-Mats! Bio-Mats are seeded mats available for $8 each with your choice of flowers. These mats sandwich premium seeds between two layers of specially prepared mulch with moisture retaining ingredients. The seeds won't migrate; no further fertilization is required; and the mats suppress weed growth. Sizes vary depending on the type of flowers you choose. To order, use the brochure coming home in your child's backpacks or call Heather Blair at 849-9771 or Mary Campbell at 849-6555.

Last Call for Voter Opinions on Newsletter Advertising
By Bonnie Waninger, Newsletter Editor

Thank you to everyone who has responded to last month's newsletter poll. You've proposed some interested ideas, such as a once-a-year Fletcher Business and Service directory in lieu of one of the newsletters. For those of you who wanted to respond but just didn't get around to it, here's one last chance. Thanks for participating.

Do you think that the Fletcher Newsletter should include information about businesses and service providers?
No
Yes

If we highlight local business and service providers in the Fletcher newsletter, should we: (please choose one only)

If we list everyone for free, which businesses or services should be eligible for listing? (choose all that apply)

Please mail your completed poll to: Bonnie Waninger, 791 Shaw Road, Cambridge, VT 05478.
