bivio and BetterInvesting have formed a strategic alliance to support investment clubs. BetterInvesting will market bivio's services and provide customer support services.   Price Simplification  As you know, bivio has always worked very hard at being the highest quality and most economical choice for investment clubs. Our last price increase was in 2003, when we raised the price of Club Accounting from $59 to $69. Unfortunately, we are announcing another price increase in terms of a service plan simplification.

The good news is that bivio's Free Trial now allows you to try out our IRS tax software. This is a special opportunity for new customers who are switching from an existing club accounting product or service to bivio. New customers can try out all of ActivePartnership™ or AccountSync™ for three months including IRS taxes completely free. 2006 tax season is a great time to switch to bivio!

The Half Year subscription plan is no longer available. We provided this service for disbanding clubs, and now we provide mid-year returns free to disbanding clubs. The reason for the Half Year subscription has therefore disappeared.

After much internal discussion, we decided that our Club Accounting subscription at $69 was no longer viable. Clubs that manually enter transactions require more support than our AccountSync™ customers. As a result, we made the tough choice to discontinue our Club Accounting subscription.

Fortunately, AccountSync™ will remain $99 per year for the whole club, including all the features of our discontinued Club Accounting service, and AccountSync's award winning automatic, nightly, broker data import feature. Former Club Accounting customers are therefore getting a bittersweet price rise. You will have to pay $99 per year, but you can also eliminate work by automatically importing all your brokerage transactions. And, we will be expanding the list of supported brokers throughout 2007 to help alleviate the pain of this price increase.
