| bivio has been designed so that you may save your club accounting
data to a disk or to your hard drive as an XML document.
XML is an Internet standard for exchanging data between different
software packages.
You may save your data in either a Plain or a Compressed
format.
Data downloaded in a plain format may take a while to download due to
the amount of information in your club database. Data downloaded in
a compressed format will download more quickly and will take up
less disk space, however,
you will need a program such as
WinZip
in order to decompress your compressed exported data.
To download your data using Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator
on Windows:
- Click on the appropriate link, Plain or Compressed,
with your right mouse button
- Select Save Target As/Save Link As
- Wait for the Save As window to open
- Select the folder and file name on your computer
- Click Save to store the file on your computer
You can learn more about XML from the
World Wide Web Consortium.
