| The first page that is displayed when you click on Accounting
is the Investment Summary. The Investment Summary is
the starting place for the entry of all
investment related transactions.
Tool Bar -
The tool bar allows you to modify the Investment Summary into a
Printer Friendly format. Also, club officers are able to
enter Investment Transactions
related to both newly acquired or currently owned investments by
clicking on the applicable transaction icon on the Tool Bar.
Investment Summary -
Reports investments held by a club as of today's date. Selecting
Show Inactive Investments
at the bottom of the page will cause
the report to display all securities that have ever been held by
the club.
Name -
The name of the investment or security as entered into the
bivio database. Clicking on a specific security Name will
cause the Investment Detail
page for that specific security to open. The Investment Detail
page allows the viewing of the transaction history of the selected
investment and allows officers to enter transactions related
to that specific investment.
Shares Held -
The quantity of shares owned by the club as of today's date.
Valuation Date -
The date that the valuation was last updated for this specific
security. The updating of the valuation for most securities
is automatic within bivio. Those investments that are not
automatically updated by bivio are called
Unlisted Investments.
Valuations of
Unlisted Investments must be updated manually buy an officer
of the club.
Price per Share -
The price per share of this security as of the last valuation.
Market Value -
The current value of this security based on the last valuation.
Percent of Portfolio -
This investment as a percentage of the total value of all the
investments held by the club.
