bivio lets you choose between secure and insecure Internet connections for almost all page accesses. You can switch between secure and insecure modes by clicking on the blue lock (Switch to secure mode (slower)) in the lower left corner of most of our pages.

Certain pages, however, require a secure connection. Our servers will automatically switch you to secure mode, without prompting.

Some pages have only one or two fields of information which should be displayed in secure mode. These pages may contain a field: Switch to secure mode. If you click on this link or the blue lock, you can switch to secure mode and view all the fields on the page.

Providing both security modes may be confusing. If you are at all concerned, we suggest you simply always use secure mode. Some users, however, like the increased performance of insecure mode especially over slow connections. Our site is used by people all over the world. We are trying to accommodate everyone's needs by allowing you to choose the level of security you are most comfortable with.
