Subject: cost averaging- additional stock to consider for Sat. Date: Wed, 21 Feb 2001 23:19:20 -0500 From: Mary To: Tom , Celina & Mark , Marta , Pat , Jim , Paula Riddle , Jim Johnson , TammyandNick , "Nicholas.Furnary" Greetings! Marta please add NOK to the list you give for approved purchase. Based on the "class" I'm taking, if we felt strongly about Nokia when we purchased it at $57, we should feel like its a blue dot special at Hecht's and buy more now............qualified with the concept that the stock club is purchasing for stock with the idea of holding it for a few years. The instructor is advising to buy low, those tech stocks that you were willing to buy high and eventually if and when there is a market correction we have not only lowered our entry price per share by cost averaging, but also increased the number of shares held.......makes some sense to me....the questions are do we believe that NOKIA will continue to increase its revenue and do we believe that Nokia is here to stay. He said this is similar to 87???? I was drinking then and the stock market was as far away from my thoughts as Mars. See you all on Sat. pm!! Mary
