Some of you have wondered why we recommend against you investing in the commodity ETFs GLD and SLV in your investment clubs.

Because these are considered investments directly in gold and silver bullion they come with unique tax issues. You will have a lot of extra work to do to make sure your accounting records get updated correctly and your tax reporting is done correctly.
