Termination of the Alcatel Lucent ADr program due to shares
being sold to Nokia Corporation in a share purchase
agreement.

To answer your question, you should have had sometime during the past year, the opportunity to exchange your ALU shares for NOK shares. Since you didn't respond to do that, the ADR company converted them for you and then sold them. They have sent you the proceeds of the sale.

You can enter this as a sale using the "Sold" button on the Accounting>Investments page. You sold the 7 ALU shares you owned for $2.7265 per share. You also had $.05 cancellation fee per share on the sale or $.35 that you enter in the commission field.

The net proceeds of your sale should then be calculated and shown on the sale entry form as the $18.74 that you received as a check.

After you have made these entries, you should double check that the capital gains information shown on the bivio capital gains/losses report agrees with what your broker shows.
