Email Distribution Not Working?
Hi all - trying to send a message to our club and the email distribution (clubname@bivio.com) list doesn't seem to be working. Anyone else having this problem?

Hi Kimberly,
Try replying to a previous group message & see if that goes through.
Also look for any email from your email provider about any kind of error. Sometimes those can take 3 days to show up because the servers don't give up right away.

Set-up is correct; we've used it before. Just doesn't seem to be working now. Thanks for response. I'll double check set-up and contact support if needed.

Only messages sent from the email addresses shown registered on your club roster will go through on your club email list.

If you have an issue, the first thing to check is that the email was sent from exactly the same address that the person has listed there. Sometimes differences can be subtle. For example, though gmail will consider both the addresses joe.investor@gmail.com and joeinvestor@gmail.com to be the same, they will not be considered the same by bivio and would cause you problems. We also see instances where emails on club rosters have been mistyped when members register.

99% of the time emails sent from incorrect addresses are what causes clubs problems.

If you have double checked these things, and not found they are your issue, send your question with more specifics on the email that didn't go through to support@bivio.com and we can help you pursue the issue further.
