| Club officers can add members and guests to the
Club Roster by clicking on the
Add Members and Invite Guests icons on the
Club Roster or the
Invites pages.
The Adding Members and Guests form
allows the club officer to add a new
person(s) to the Club Roster
as either an
online or an offline member.
An online member is included in the club's roster and accounting
records, can log into bivio to view the club's books and member information
(other than the Social Security Numbers of other members), will have
their own bivio email address, and will receive a copy of any email sent to
the club's address. To add a new online member simply enter the person's
name and email address on the
Adding Members and Guests
form. If desired, you may also
include a personal message that will be sent along with the invitation and
instructions
on how to join your club as an online member. Once this new member receives
the email invitation and joins your club as an online member, following the
instructions included in the email invitation, they will be able to enjoy all
the benefits of an online member of your club. Additional information for this
new online member, such as address, phone, and Social Security Number,
may be
added or edited by a club officer or the member themselves via the
Club Roster.
An offline member is included in the club's roster and accounting
records but will not have a bivio email address, cannot access club data
or member information online, and cannot be listed as a club officer in bivio.
To add an offline member simply enter the new member's name on the
Adding Members and Guests
form and click OK. You can
Additional information for this new member, such as address,
phone, and Social Security Number, may be added or edited by a club officer on
via the Club Roster. To later bring an offline member online, an officer
may simply click on the Bring online action to the right of the
applicable offline member's name on the Club Roster.
Inviting guests to your bivio club is as simple as going
to Administration
> Invites or to Administration > Roster and
clicking on the
Invite Guests
icon. This will cause the Invite Guests form
to be displayed.
The
Invite Guests
form allows the club officer to send an email
invitation to the guest(s). Upon receipt of the invitation and once each person
signs up with your club as a guest, following the instructions included in the
email invitation, each person will be added to the
Club Roster as a guest.
They will then be
able to enjoy all the benefits as a guest of your club. A
guest is not a legal partner of your club. Guests have limited privileges.
They can view the club's data and member personal data (except social security
numbers), but they cannot upload files and they do not receive messages sent
to
your club. Guests cannot buy units in your club, nor can they perform any
functions
as an officer of the club.
To subsequently convert a guest into a member of your club, an officer
must click on the
Make Member action to the right of the guest's name on the
Club Roster.
The
Invite Guest to become Member
form will be displayed requiring
the officer to
confirm that the club does indeed wish to give member privileges to
the guest. An
invitation to become a member of your club will then be emailed
to the guest on your
behalf. By agreeing to become a member, the guest is giving club
officers the right
to view and modify their Tax ID, Name, Address, and Phone number,
if required, in the
Club Roster.
Once agreeing to become a member, by
clicking on the link
in the email invitation, this person has full privileges as a member
of the club.
