We're looking for a support specialist to join our team at bivio.
Pay$35-45 / hour, DOEPlus merit-based bonuses

You are
*
comfortable and skilled using bivio as a club treasurer.
*
skilled at using desktop and web applications for things like email, spreadsheets, word processing, and presentations.
*
self-motivated, flexible, and able to work independently.
*
knowledgeable about the accounting and tax issues relating to investments in stocks and stock-based mutual funds.
*
familiar with partnership accounting and tax reporting.
*
good at helping people learn.
*
interested in interacting with a great customer base on a regular basis.
*
interested in a job where you can work from home with flexible hours.
Bonus points for presentation skills or prior work experience in customer service, taxes, or accounting.
Hours vary seasonally
Available work increases October through March leading up to the yearly tax deadline. Hours depend on the year and on you, ranging from roughly 10 per week in the off season to as many as 40 at the busiest point of tax season.
Expect more hours than usual during your first several months while you are getting up to speed.

Your setup
You will be expected to maintain your own office and computer equipment with the ability to make phone and video calls.
Most support requests are handled by email but phone calls may also be scheduled in certain circumstances. We also conduct webinars, training, and office meetings via video call.
