Here's some news that might create some interesting practice in the Virtual Simulator.

David Einhorn, a famous (and smart) hedge fund manager, just let everyone know that his firm is shorting Chipotle. The stock fell 7% in almost an instant.

Chipotle is a very good company but has always commanded a high P/E.

What do you think? Anybody see any Puts that they'd like to try in the simulator?

When you swim with sharks, you better know that you are food.

Watching CNBC and story was interesting but I think the place to go swimming is the HMO market.

Well at least we can have fun with it. Einhorn said Chipotles sales would be affected by new products at Taco Bell.

Here's a study done by some investors to see if they agreed with that:

Chipotle appears to be back up a bit after the initial panic down to around 295 yesterday.

Hahaha, very scientific :)  I've never had the opportunity to eat at Chipotle but it seems odd that someone would lump their customers in with Taco Bell. I've never cared for TB - ick.

Decided to jump on a CMG Put today (in the VT):

Chipotle Mexican Grill   CMG Oct 12 280 Put     1 contract     $7.20

APR 125%   Net Premium $705.05

I don't believe that Taco Bell and Chipotle are competing for the same customers. Even if I end up buying the stock at $280 (net 272.80), I still think it will move back up.  The last time the stock was at $273, it was in August 2011.

I also did 2 BTC today on Coach - APR 80% and ORLY  APR 27%
