Sources for Option Chains with Delta and Implied Volatility
One of the questions asked during tonight's Cool Club meeting was where to find Delta. Here are two places to look.

Additionally, if you hover over the word, Detail, a pop-up will display all the Greeks for the strike price:

Many option chains you view from within your brokerage account will give information about Delta and the other 'Greeks'. You usually need to configure the option chain's settings to bring up the additional columns of data. I could not find the Greeks online at Schwab from the regular account logon, but this information is readily visible on an option chain displayed within Schwab's Street Smart Edge desktop application and from Schwab's active trader site, StreetSmart.com.

As you can see there are many different paths you may take to find the Delta for a particular option.

Well that brings up a quick question: If the information is deliberately buried in the professed educational web sites, are the Greeks fundamental in our analysis of writing covered options?

I prefer to use the options data provided by Morningstar. They provide Delta as a default and also provide the capability to view or not view many other measures. I have found the M* site quite the easiest to use for options.

Take a look here for a sample:
http://quote.morningstar.com/Option/Options.aspx?sLevel=A&ticker=APA

I see Delta as quite important in that it provides a look at the probability of a Put or Call being exercised. I see this to be quite important along with other measures like APR and Premium dollars. i.e. It is nice to see the potential APR and premium as well as what stock price you would be willing to buy or sell the stock but I like to see what the probability of being assigned may be.
