Sorry to step in so late last night - conflict
with a really, really nice afternoon outside. Apple. I don't understand this stock and its options. I may be out of this trade Friday and leave the forbidden fruit alone because I'm no smarter for taking a bite! I wrote a put, got put, wrote a call and have watched the value of my call increase 3x and then decrease to par in less than twenty days. I'm in a 13-02-16 465.00 C and with the way the price of the stock is moving due to activist investors (speculators in the six figure tax bracket), I have no idea where I'll end up Friday. I wrote the call $20 OTM in January and have been $30 ITM - a $50 swing! Laurie, you mentioned you had a trade that missed. I'd be interested in seeing your logic when approaching this vehicle.
