3Free VLs were available on a Better Investing website but I
am not able to find them now. Any ideas how to get back to
that resourse? Jane Ringler, AK
I get unlimited Value Lines from the public library in Fairfax, VA, for $14 per year.

Check with your local public library and with libraries in
surrounding areas. Some have Value Line subscriptions, and
many have them online. Here in the Phoenix, AZ area, the
library in a nearby city (Scottsdale) has such a
subscription, and those who live in Arizona can sign up for
a library card for free. I download VL pages regularly at no
cost.
It costs 15 cents per page in northern Indiana....

Since you live in Indiana, the Tippecanoe County Public Library has a Value Line subscription. You will need a PLAC card (Public Library Access Card) from your local library or you can get one from TCPL. Unfortunately the price is p to $65,00 per year now.

Yes, but remember it's only a one-time trip to get their library card. After that, it's all online. If you are in a club, make a day trip of it, including lunch,

Lynn O.
Jeanne, I to subscribe to the Fairfax County Public Library as a non-resident and they charge $27 now.

Thanks for the fee correction. I was spending more than $27/yr at .15/page + gas.

Maryland residents has free sharing privileges in any of the other 23 counties and Baltimore City. From there you can get free access to Montgomery County MD library and you can get access to Value Line (regular, Small and Mid Cap edition and their weekly magazine Selection and Opinion and their Special Situations magazine), also S&P including their stock screener and over 15,000 stocks and their magazine -- Outlook. Finally you can get the Morningstar reports and their magazines. All on line and all in pdfs.

Just need a Montgomery County library card. I know northern Virginia has many of the same features.

Maybe there is a library within a few hours drive of your club that has access. Call around. Then as Lynn said make a saturday trip and grab some lunch and bond with your members. A day trip can save your members lots of money and have an enjoyable trip as well.

Does anyone in Tennessee know if any public library has this option. Our local library quit providing VL.

Lucile Sorrells, I"d suggest checking with some of the large town or cities in Tennessee. I wish Indianapolis, IN subscribed but they do still have the paper/booklet version. Having access on-line if really wonderful though.

Is there any resource in Michigan such as the PLAC card to be used for VL downloads?
