Tax Program Status

Hi all,

The bivio tax programs for preparing Federal, CO, PA, CA and NJ tax forms are now available for you to use if you go to Accounting>Taxes.

There are six steps to doing your taxes. They all need to be completed to produce correct forms. You will need to have your your 1099 forms from your broker to do this.

The program for preparing NY taxes has not been released yet. There were many changes to it and it is still pending approval from the state.

Laurie,

It looks like everything is up on the NY tax site (https://www.tax.ny.gov/). Is it something else holding it up? It seems like NY is delayed every year.

Thanks

Pat

Yes. They have changed their testing and approval process for software suppliers.

Every year they get more complex. We have no control over that. We have been diligently working with them for quite a while now to get the forms approved.

There is not much else we can do.

Thank you for your patience. We will let you know as soon as they are ready.

Are WA tax forms ready?

Hi Laurie,
I am the treasurer for a New Jersey investment club. We now have 2 NY residents in the club. Can I access the online NY state tax program or do I have to do it manually? If so, can the forms be accessed on line?

Regards,
Tony Maiello
BMIC
