Entering addresses and SSN
No offense intended to Bivio but we prefer to not have our home addresses and SSN's in yet another location "on the internet". With only 8 partners, we have always manually entered address and SSN on the tax return prior to mailing. It doesn't appear that I can get past the screen stating we have this missing information. Or will it only put the information on the tax return form but not store it in Bivio?

Hi,

That information is required to produce correct tax forms. It potentially needs to be entered several places on the tax forms and it can't be hand written for certain tax filings.

Therefore it needs to be entered when you take the tax interview.

If you don't want to leave it in bivio after you've prepared your taxes, it is fine to delete it.

Bob

We have a member who doesn't want her SSN entered. If you put 000-00-0000 it will work and then they can hand enter it on the form.

I wouldn't recommend this. There is a reason they are required this year. They need to go in several places on your tax forms and no handwritten entries are allowed on certain state tax forms.

Whoa! I am thinking that if I had a return form that would not allow a handwritten entry, I would write it in just to be obstinate.

As long as you were willing to pay the late filing penalties that would apply for not sending in correct tax filings, I guess you can do what you'd like.

But you'd need to send them in eventually.

It was not a purchase of Keurig. Keurig bought out
Dr Pepper & as a result of that, we got this distribution.
