Video meetings
We have been a womens Club for 22 years and some are
not up to date on computers. Looking for easiest

Zoom works well for our group.

Our club, Ladies of the Club (LOTC) has been using Zoom for the last year and a half. We experimented prior to this with SKYPE and it was unstable. We also tried Google HANGOUTS and found it to also be unstable and a little more confusing. With ZOOM, we've had good luck. TIP: It is easier to have all team members joining via ZOOM versus having a few meeting face-to-face and a few Zooming unless everyone has a laptop (or there is screen sharing). The combination of F2F and Virtual is a bit tricky with the audio.

You can even try ZOOM for free (20 minutes) to check it out. We used that for awhile for our regular meetings, but it got to be a bit of a pain renewing the link when the meeting extended that short amount of time. Now we use a license to access.

Cheers!
Teresa

You could look into freeconferencecall.com
we have been using them for about 2 years .
Benefits:
1. free
2. no limits on how many people can attend the meeting
3. no limit on time
negatives
1. wifi strength very important
Hope this helps

I looked into Zoom and others, but selected Webex Meetings.
    40 total participants
    unlimited time
    Free
Share Desktop / Applications with other members (share SSG's and Treasure Reports etc)
Apps available for Apple, Andoid, Windows - so all my members could join with iPad, iPhone, Apple PC, and Window's pc

Gotcha - I had to "hand hold" almost every member including practice runs because Webex works best when a copy of the software resides on your device or computer (after testing, I decided it Must reside on Apple handheld devices).

We had our last Monthly meeting using this software - 9 of our 10 members were present with video and audio.  I had similar virtual meeting with my Work Folks totaling 16 devices simultaneously.  Both meetings lasted over 1 hour.  Once installed and everyone has practiced once, all they have to do is Join from a Meeting Invitation sent out by Webex Host - There are 3 of us who have registered and can be Host (still all free).

Finally, I am also using this application to video chat with my family who all live in excess of 100 miles away, some in different states.  I started this with family to practice with the app, and it caught on; we now have weekly visits.  I am seeing way too much of my family since we are Social Distancing!

We use Zoom. We should have bought stock in it at last meeting (priced at $123) and sold today at over $165. Hindsight is 20/20. P/E was way to high for our conservative club.

Zoom is good and free. Can see more people at once if using video. Skype is good too, but is limited to 4 people in view at once.
Zoom is also limited to 45 minutes for the free version.

We were lucky with that Bud. We bought Zoom before Christmas for $65. Multiple members of my club use it for work and all of them liked it. Never thought that it would explode like it did.

Thanks to all for your input. I am going to try Webex. I
tried setting up on Mobile phone but had problem. Seems to
have better pages on PC

Our club has started using Zoom. It allows 40-minute sessions. Our senior partner sends out two emails for each meeting. The second one can be used to start another 40-minute session when the first one ends. I also use it for virtual meetings with our children and grandchildren, who are scattered around the country and abroad.
