LTG STG error
I have gone over this several times and can't determine the error.
Dividends match up on all stocks. Sales match up on all stocks with correct dates. However the STG according to Bivio for the stock CHD is overstated about $6.00 and the LTG is understated about $74.00.   All dividends, purchase pricing and date of sales/amounts match.
The sale of CHD was on 12/30/21 but I can't find any discrepancy. It appears to me either Bivio or TDA miscalculated STG and LTG.
I will amend it if I can find the problem. I have to believe at this point Bivio or TDA have a glitch. It might be related to the date the stock was sold.
Suggestions???
I'm at a lost.

This is a question on your specific clubs records. Send it to support@bivio.com with your 1099 and a Realized gain/loss report attached and we will review and let you know what needs to be done.

Why did you even file your taxes if this wasn't right?

It sounds like the lots which were sold do not match, between broker and Bivio.  Look at your brokerage statement to see the purchase date of the lots which were sold and make sure it agrees with what is in Bivio.

We had an issue with Interactive Brokers in that they sold all fractional shares using the most recent purchase date and in Bivio it was recorded as from the oldest purchase date.

I thought this problem sounded like one I figured out when I first started going through our 1099 report.  As it turned out we had sold some stock and specified the lot (usually it's FIFO) in order to mitigate the loss we were going to have.  I hadn't changed anything in bivio when the transaction came though to bivio, so the numbers didn't match.  It was a simple solution to go in and make the correction.

Good luck.

We only sold once. 12/30/22 and bought twice. All dates match up and all dividends used to repurchase stock matched perfectly except LTG and STG

I sent them in because I was leaving the country for a vacation and was not returning until the 15th of March. I left the morning after Bivio got their software up and running. I felt I could just file an amended return over a gain of $67.00 distributed among 20 members. I discussed with the club officers and accountant. I figured I could try to find the error and amend it when I got back.
I should of filed for an extension. That was my bad and everyone else's.
