Schwab/TD Ameritrade merger

Our club uses TD Ameritrade and it will move to Schwab in a
couple weeks. All members currently use autopay from BMO
bank for our monthly club contributions to TD Ameritrade.

Does anyone know whether these autopay contributions will
continue once our TD Ameritrade account moves to Schwab? I
am wondering whether we need to cancel the current
arrangement and set up a new one with Schwab. The person I
spoke with at BMO said this needs to be done with TD
Ameritrade or Schwab.

You can start your login process w/Schwab now. I had the same question, so logged onto Schwab yesterday and found this statement under Deposits:

"What you can expect: Any check deposits received by TD Ameritrade after your account has transitioned will automatically be accepted and posted to your Schwab account."

Start exploring Schwab. The transition is scheduled to occur over Memorial Day weekend.
