Any one else have this Schwab Brokerage problem with Novo-Nordisk stock & dividend reinvestment?
I've owned Novo-Nordisk stock (an ADR) for 9 years (TD
Ameritrade, then Schwab Brokerage) & have the dividends
reinvested 2X a year (April & Aug) (Received the Aug'23
reinvestment dividend AFTER Schwab took over.). I just
bought my g-kids shares & noticed that my Dividend
Reinvestment 'button' was turned to 'off'. I marked the
kids shares for reinvestment, but kept getting the message
"Ineligible for Dividend Reinvestment". WHAT?! I checked my
personal shares & found the Dividend Reinvestment 'button'
was NOW turned to 'off'.
So I called Schwab & he tried his 'backdoor' method to no
avail. Could not give me an answer why, all of a sudden,
they were ineligible! (I double checked, and the company is
still issuing dividends.) Called Schwab again &
explained....I was told they were 'ineligible'; I kept
asking why; all I got was 'company policy', 'don't know'.
Wondering if other Schwab customers have noticed this in
their accounts? Has anyone gotten a reasonable answer as to
why this has happened--a software glitch or new company
policy? Are other brokers still doing dividend reinvestment
 for Novo stock?
