Take me off your email list. I'm not in your club.

Rebecca, I need a bit of help! We sold Iron Mountain which shows as an REIT and have a handful of transactions with a Schwab money market stock ( both in 2024) & I need advice on handing these type of stocks... I attended your Webinarast week and these type of stocks ( REIT & Money market) were discussed however I want a recap of that advice now that I have out Schwab 1099.
Can you direct me to the section of the Webinar ( I think it was about 70% into the presentation) or send me advice on how to report these transactions in Bivio?

If your club has money market dividends and the bivio reporting
doesn't agree with your 1099s there are two things you can check. Make sure the dividends are all recorded in
bivio as money market dividends and not interest. If your club has an unlisted money market
investment other than your club's cash account, select
Accounting > Investments and click "info" at the right of the unlisted
investment. Make sure the category
"Bond, Money Market, Other" is selected.
Detailed instructions for making dividend
adjustments are in slides 32-42 of the Preparing Your 2024 Investment Club
Taxes webinar. Here's a handy feature--you
can use your browser's Edit > Find feature or Ctrl-F or Cmd-F shortcut keys
to quickly search through bivio webinar handouts on your screen for any keyword
like REIT. REIT distributions are
tricky. If you need more guidance, email
us at support@bivio.com and attach a
copy of your club's 1099.
