Partnership Forbidden Acts Considerations

As noted in an earlier section, in a general partnership, all partners are personally liable for the actions of any other partner but only within the scope of the partnership's defined business.

This section further defines restrictions on what partners are allowed to do in the name of the partnership. It further protects all partners against personal exposure to the consequences of inappropriate actions on the part of any other partner.

This section also protects the partnership from the inadvertent addition of a partner or person or business with a claim to part of the partnership.
