withdrawal question
I had a member withdraw this year. His account on the valuation date was worth 21276.57. We charge a 3% fee to withdraw and the software calculated the fee to be 658.04. But 658.04 is not 3% of 21276.57. What could have gone wrong?

Performance Benchmark tool

club_cafe: backup withholding
Here's a tentative workaround, but you may have to change things. Assuming your club did NOT make any charitable contributions during 2005 and the backup withholding took place in 2005: Enter the backup withholding as a charitable contribution to a 50% organization. This will segregate ...

club_cafe: Re: Clean Club Shutdown...Not!
It's highly unlikely that the IRS will bother the club for $22 in interest if that's the only 2006 income reported to it via 1099 series documents. If you're still in contact with the members of your club, I would suggest having a check issued ...

Strict interpretation of the tax code would indicate that you have to file 2006. However, if the amount is small enough, there are ways to work around this. How much money is involved? Ira Smilovitz In a message dated 1/4/2006 1:10:41 P.M. Eastern Standard Time, ...
