Who runs an investment club?
Who runs an investment club?

You do. Each club is free to decide how it wants to manage itself. You'll set up a partnership agreement which will lay out the rules for operating that everyone in your group will agree to. To get you started, take a look at our Sample Partnership Agreement.

bivio is used to keep your club records and manage your operations. Different members of your group will have different privileges to edit information. For example, every club will have people in the group that are identified as Administrator(s), Treasurer(s), and Members.

  • Administrators can invite other members to join, and can assign their roles and privileges.
  • The club Treasurer (and sometimes also Assistant Treaurer) handles accounting transactions - such as entering stock purchases and sales and member contributions.
  • All club Members can vote, and can use bivio to review club accounts, upload and download files and start and participate in online discussions about stocks you'd like to buy or sell or any other club business you need to talk about in-between meetings.
